420 Acres of woods, lakes, streams and adventures in Minnesota
For the last 15 months we have monitored the world situation and studied the possibility of having a youth summer camp in the woods of Minnesota. Our plan for 2021 is as follows:
We will welcome campers in July and early August to come back to Star Lake. Each camper will have their own tent, all programming will be done outside, daily health checks will send campers home at the first sign of illness, and advanced cleaning protocols will be strictly followed.
Star Lake will not be offering pickup and drop-off of campers this year. The logistics of appropriate spacing are beyond our ability this year.
M1 Middle School 1, 1PM July 4 to 11AM July 9
M2 Middle School 2, 1PM July 11 to 11AM July 16
M3 Middle School 3, 1PM July 18 to 11AM July 23
Elementary Camp, 1PM July 31 to 11 AM August 3
If there are campers who are 15 or older they can apply to come as a volunteer this summer. We have only a few spaces available for high school students so this is an application process.
July 25th to 31st especially for campers who stutter
Your support and contributions will enable us to wecome every camper regardless of their ability to pay.
Star Lake offers youth camps for three age groups. Elementary 3 night camps in tents. Middle School 5 night adventures in tents. And High School service camps working with staff and staying in log cabins.
Star Lake Camp is an outdoor program. Staff are required to sleep in tents, use outdoor privies, swim in a lake, and teach camping skills.
Season is June 25th until August 6th, (6 weeks). Starting pay $275 plus experience and certification bonuses.

Star Lake Camp offers camp opportunities regardless of the ability to pay. All are welcome to attend up to two non-consecutive camps. It cost $500 per week of camp or $300 for half week elementary camps. Please consider sending what you can afford to send your camper to camp.
